Cara Abraham
About this Service
I am a BACP registered counsellor and psychology honours graduate with over eight years of experience in the field. I am experienced in using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including person-centred therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, which allows me to tailor interventions to suit you.
I take a compassionate and empathetic approach to any difficulties you may be experiencing and try to create a safe and non-judgmental space. I have worked with a wide range of clients, including those who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.
As a BACP registered counsellor, my professional qualifications and experience are recognised by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, this guarantees that I have met their standards of proficiency and ethics, and as a psychology honours graduate, I bring a scientific understanding of human behaviour and emotions to my practice, which allows me to provide evidence-based interventions.
I’m really pleased you’ve reached out for some support and look forward to meeting with you!
