About this Service
Consultative supervision is a service that offers supervision to professionals from a variety of core settings.
Clinical supervision for practising counsellors and psychotherapists is integral to ensuring a safe and professional environment for all to work in. The support from a clinical supervisor helps to ensure an effective and standardised approach to a therapist’s work.
BABCP and BACP outline requirements for supervision in their members’ ethical framework and it is a condition of their membership.
I have an interest in working creatively in supervision and make use of role play, sandtray, collage and creative writing. I feel that this way of working brings another level of insight into how we formulate presenting difficulties and work with specific CBT models. There is no pressure to work in this way, I can equally accomodate a more specific CBT approach to supervision.
I also offer supervision online and via telephone. I do not offer this service to student therapists in training as I feel that face-to-face supervision is really important to thoroughly explore their cases, listen to aspects of their work via recordings, and give feedback on CTS-Rs.
I offer Group supervision for a maximum of four supervisees.
