About this Service
I provide short and long term psychodynamic and relational counselling to individuals who are looking for support to work through some painful experiences, as well as to people who would like to gain more self-awareness and personal development. I provide support and guidance by making links between your past and your present feelings. I am a strong believer of the past influencing our present and use this approach to help you get clarity and resolution.
Whether you are stressed due to work, anxious in social situations, grieving the loss of a loved one, going through a difficult break-up or are a survivor of domestic abuse, I can support you. Life gets difficult at times and you may be looking for someone to help with your problems. Counselling and psychotherapy with me can help you get a better understanding of your emotions and experiences, develop compassion for yourself, get rid of old maladaptive patterns, improve relationships and feel happy again.
Some of the issues I have experience helping clients with include but not limited to: depression, anxiety, stress, loneliness, anger, self-worth and confidence issues, relationship and family problems, bereavement and loss, cultural issues, change and adaptation, identity and sexuality.
I believe you know your story better than anybody else. Sometimes it is hard to see things clearly when we feel hurt, sad and stuck. My role as your therapist is to guide you find your unique answers and what feels better for you.
